    In New Zealand, Formula Atlantic is an iconic open-wheel racing category that ran purpose-built cars from the 1970s to the mid-1990s. These Cars raced in the New Zealand Grand Prix between 1977 and 1993 under the Formula Pacific name. These cars are now celebrated in historic racing, including Formula Racing NZ , the Repco NextGen NZ Championship and the Taupo Historic GP, featuring former star drivers and fostering new talent

  • TRS FT50.

    A TRS FT50 is a series specific single-seater, open-wheel racing car used in the Castrol Toyota Racing Series (TRS) in New Zealand from the 2015 season onward. Launched in 2014 to replace the FT40, the FT50 was a significant upgrade featuring a Tatuus-built carbon fibre chassis, a Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine, F1-style paddle shifters, a Sadev gearbox, and enhanced safety features to meet FIA Formula 3 standards. The car was designed to give young drivers, both New Zealand and international, valuable experience in modern "wings and slicks" racing

  • TRS FT40.

    The TRS FT40 is a specific model of Formula 3-style single-seater open-wheel racing car that was used in the Castrol Toyota Racing Series (TRS) from 2005 to 2015. The FT40, designed and built by Italian manufacturer Tatuus, featured a Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine and was the first car used in the series.

    The Formula Renault was derived from the same Tatuus Chassis, with slightly different Aerodynamics and a Renault engine.
